China Eastern Logistics gives full play to the advantages of air transportation, takes the initiative to let logistics enter the mountains, help farmers and sales, help Ningbo bayberry fly to various places efficiently, and build an "air bridge" to the whole country for Zhejiang agricultural products. The first batch of about 20 tons of bayberry transported by China Eastern Logistics was successfully shipped to all parts of the country on June 13. During the peak period of bayberry maturity this year, China Eastern Logistics transported an average of more than 30 tons of bayberry per day.
The bayberry is known as "fresh on the first day, the color changes the next day, and the taste changes in three days". In order to maintain a fresh taste, the best transportation time is 24 hours from early morning picking to tasting. In view of the transportation characteristics of bayberry, the sales team of China Eastern Logistics Zhejiang area visited the origin of bayberry in Yuyao early, and formulated a "fresh" air freight guarantee plan in order to help farmers "get out of the mountain" more efficiently. The team suggested that fruit farmers use a professional "egg tray" packaging box, so that each bayberry has a "safe seat" to avoid collision and extrusion during transportation. In addition, measures such as vacuum packaging, additional ice packs, and aging priority are also used to keep bayberry fresh, assisting fruit farmers to complete transportation at the fastest speed within the "golden time" of bayberry harvest.
On the occasion of the picking of bayberry in Yuyao, Ningbo, the sales team of China Eastern Airlines Logistics went deep into the bayberry production area again, "point-to-point" to pair fruit farmers and transportation service providers and form a joint force, and the local airport cargo station provided "green channel" services in the whole transportation process to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation process of bayberry. It is expected that this year China Eastern Airlines Logistics will help about 300 tons of Ningbo bayberry fresh "out of the mountain".
