With a market share of 49.11% in January 2024, it continued to rank first in domestic power battery loading, lithium iron phosphate ranked first in domestic loading for three consecutive months, and achieved "13 crowns" in 14 lists including domestic ternary power battery enterprises and power battery export sales from January to December in 2023.
If you carefully analyze the two details of the list, you will find that the absolute leadership of this king in the power battery field is far more than the "13 crown".
The first detail is the high growth potential shown by the "proportion change", and the Ningde era has run the largest increase in the market share of power batteries.
As we all know, often because of the large market share base, the more giant, the more difficult it is to maintain a high growth rate. In 2023, the battery load of Ningde Times was 167.1GWh. What surprised the industry is that Ningde Times is the company with the largest increase in the TOP15 of the 2023 domestic power battery company load list, and BYD, which ranks second in the load volume, has the largest market share shrinkage, ranking last in the proportion change. On the huge market share base, Ningde Times has achieved a further increase in market share, and on the basis of "absolute leadership", it further shows its growth potential.
The second detail is hidden in the lower left corner of the list. This list uses the algorithm of "averaging the products of multiple battery companies supporting the same model".
This means that in fact, as the main supplier of "one supply", its market share is "averaged" by the two supply and three supply options of the OEMs at the statistical level, and whoever is the "one supply" and who actually supplies the larger share will suffer more. As a "big player" of global power batteries, Ningde Times is "one supply" in the procurement system of most car company customers. From this, it can also be inferred that the actual market share of "No. 1 on the list" Ningde Times is almost certain to exceed the value of 43.11%, which is "suppressed" by the system in this annual test. However, even so, under the lossmaking algorithm, Ningde Times was still far ahead with its "discount share", and the strength behind it could only be described as "terrifying".
And extended to the global scope, 2023 Ningde era still occupies the main market position. Although the current global market data is still in the statistics, according to the latest power battery statistics released by South Korean research institute SNE Research on January 9, 2023 from January to November, the loading capacity of Ningde era reached 233.4 GWh, with a global market share of 37.4%, an increase of 1.7 percentage points from the same period in 2022, and continues to rank first. Combined with the recently announced domestic market results and the overseas growth rate of 2023 Ningde era (once reached 111%), the industry's widely predicted "Ningde era will achieve the world's first place for seven consecutive years" is almost equal to DingTalk on the board.
