As a representative of China's science and technology manufacturing industry, Li Dongsheng, founder and chairman of TCL, not only delivered a keynote speech entitled "Enterprise Development Path under Chinese Modernization" at the parallel forum of "TCL Night in 2023 Summer Davos". He said: "Enterprises in the new development pattern to strengthen the global production layout, with a new model of globalization to truly implement and reflect the 'domestic and international double cycle of mutual promotion', can continue to respond to the changes in the global economic pattern and new trade protectionism challenges, to achieve high-quality development."
Also in line with the theme of the Forum, during the event, he published a signed article "Entrepreneurial resilience to inject new impetus into the World Economy" on the official website of the World Economic Forum, sharing three personal thoughts: First, focus on local value creation to promote globalization; The second is to drive the sustainable development of global economy through green strategy; Third, entrepreneurial resilience should lead the exploration of a new model of globalization and inject new impetus into the world economy.
The prosperity of international trade has brought opportunities for the world economy to flourish. Globalization has promoted the efficient global allocation of production factors, produced good and affordable goods, brought benefits to consumers around the world, and has been regarded as the most efficient economic development model in the past decades. However, the imbalance of regional industries and interests caused by globalization makes the anti-globalization sentiment rise year by year. Therefore, it is necessary to explore new global production models to cope with the current situation.
Li Dongsheng, founder and chairman of TCL, summarized the new development ideas from TCL's 24 years of global operation and development. In 2021, TCL Technology successfully landed the country's first "green carbon link" business of supply chain finance based on enterprise low-carbon evaluation, promoting ecological partners to be more motivated to carry out energy conservation and emission reduction transformation.
