Guangzhou, April 02, 2022 -- Recently, the Red Dot Design Award in Germany was officially announced. Two edge computing products EIS800 and Swing P101 of Inspur Information stand out with their simple appearance, unique processing technology and user-friendly design concept, and won the Red Dot Product Design Award in 2022.
The Red Dot Design Award was established in 1955 by Design Zentrum Nordrhein, one of Europe's most prestigious design associations Westfalen, held in Essen, Germany, is one of the world's top three design awards, along with Germany's IF Award and America's IDEA Award. Every year, it attracts companies from all over the world. The 2022 Red Dot Award was professionally judged by 48 judges from 23 countries. The jury conducted a professional, independent and comprehensive evaluation of each entry product in accordance with rigorous evaluation criteria for the purpose of "seeking excellent design and innovation", and selected the Red Dot Excellent Product Design Award, among which two edge server products of Inspur Information made the list.
The minimalist EIS800 ADAPTS to extreme environments
With the rapid development of digital economy and the increasing demand for data processing, in order to meet users' digital business applications such as "large connection, low delay and large bandwidth" on the edge side, the demand for edge servers that can adapt to harsh environment and can be arranged quickly grows rapidly. EIS800 is designed based on the edge computing modular architecture ECOM, decoupling core computing platform, heterogeneous acceleration platform, IO module, management function and other modules. Through the standardized and modular design, it can flexibly combine indoor, outdoor and micro-center computing node forms to achieve flexible expansion of computing power, so as to adapt to intelligent manufacturing and vehicular cooperation , smart retail, smart medical care, smart logistics and other edge scenes of differentiation.
Will "breathe" the server Swing, business running real-time awareness
Swing is a highly integrated edge server, can be used for medical image recognition, disease screening and other intelligent medical scenarios, AI teaching assistants in universities, AI software algorithm development and other applications, to provide more compact and efficient AI computing power, improve the computational efficiency of edge AI reasoning scenarios.
Swing shape is small and exquisite, high recognition. The anodized finish gives it a strong metallic feel. The extreme simple appearance is matched with the round light belt in the front face and the palisade design, which gives it a strong sense of science and technology while ensuring good heat dissipation performance. In addition, the circular light belt is also known as the "breathing light", whose color changes with the service load, from light ice blue to bright red. The color matching of the light belt can more humanized and directly reflect the running status of the product, and is suitable for medical, education and other human-machine scenarios.
Similarly, in view of edge differentiation demand, users can select the required internal acceleration module on demand to support the rapid construction of their AI reasoning scenarios. With two additional expansion card slots,Swing can be combined with different types of GPU accelerator cards, ASIC accelerator cards, FPGA accelerator cards and other acceleration modules to provide multiple computing power options for different intelligent scenarios such as healthcare, education, retail and so on.
