On November 27, the final of Huawei China College Students ICT Competition 2021 Practice Competition was successfully held in Gansu Province. In the early stage of this competition, more than 2,000 students from 32 colleges and universities in the province participated. Finally, Lanzhou Institute of Technology and Lanzhou Polytechnic College won the first prize of Network track and Cloud track in Gansu Region respectively. It also means that four teams from the two schools will represent Gansu province in the 2021 National finals of the Huawei China ICT Competition for College Students.
"Huawei ICT Competition" is a competitive communication competition for ICT talents created by Huawei for global college students. It aims to provide an international learning platform for students of Huawei ICT College and universities who are willing to become ICT colleges, improve their ICT knowledge level, strengthen their practical ability and innovation and creation ability of using technologies and new platforms. "Huawei ICT Competition" is divided into practice competition and innovation competition. The practice competition consists of two courses, which are network track and cloud track, and focuses on students' ICT theoretical knowledge reserve, new practice ability and team cooperation ability. The innovation competition focuses on the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, Hongmeng and other directions, with the goal of examining students' innovation and cooperative development ability.
2021 will be the sixth year of the Huawei China ICT Competition for College Students and the first year of the provincial competition. In March this year, "Huawei ICT Competition" was included in the 2021 National College Student Competition list for the first time, which means that Huawei ICT Competition has become one of the competitions with high value and high value recognized by China Higher Education Association.
The 2021 Huawei China College Student ICT Competition in Gansu Province has been launched in various regions of the province since September.
