Recently, "The Fourth China College Students Power Battery Innovation Competition Finals and award ceremony" came to a successful conclusion. Seven teams from Beijing Institute of Technology, Tianjin Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University won silver and bronze prizes.

China College Student Power Battery Innovation Competition is one of the earliest professional competitions for domestic college students and focuses on new energy power battery technology innovation. It is also a research and innovation platform for joint enterprises, industry institutions and universities in the field of power batteries. The competition was initiated by LG New Energy in 2018. China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance and International Automotive Engineering Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute, as guiding units, gave important support to the competition.
