Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on the development and manufacture of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) low-voltage lithium electric systems, leveraging their respective technological strengths to combine China Innovation Singapore Aviation's lithium battery expertise with Kryshi's automotive battery heritage to meet the needs of electric vehicles.

"This strategic partnership further expands our portfolio of low-voltage battery technologies for the electric and autonomous vehicle markets," Mark Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, said, "This strategic partnership will help us establish long-term industry leadership and continue to expand our industry-leading portfolio of products to meet future vehicle usage scenarios with new technologies."

The Corysen-Sinotron Battery System will further expand the Corysen-XEV series advanced low-voltage battery portfolio, which is specially applied in collaborative high-voltage battery conditions to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. The Krix xEV family supports leading edge product performance, providing critical safety in the event of a failure or disconnection of a high voltage battery.

Kriesy predicts that by 2040, more than 50% of the world's 1.7 billion vehicles will be a combination of full hybrids, mild hybrids and electric vehicles. As more autonomous driving features are added to vehicles, the 12V low-voltage battery is a key component of a multi-cell system that effectively provides constant power and ensures critical safety functions to avoid failures and hazards.

This global strategic collaboration covers joint research and development in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
