Logitech, the world's leading consumer electronics provider, has announced the expansion of its enterprise business offerings. In addition to its existing line of industry-leading video collaboration in conference rooms, Logitech has launched an enterprise-level personal work desktop solution tailored for enterprise customers to meet the evolving IT configuration needs of today's enterprises.
The next-generation Logitech Logi Bolt wireless connectivity technology offers a high level of security performance, strong wireless signal and cross-platform compatibility, providing enterprises with efficient and secure desktop solutions.
High level wireless connection security
As cloud-enabled and work-from-home models become more common, increased employee mobility creates additional information security concerns for organizations. Logitech Logi Bolt adopts LESC encryption pairing technology to achieve Bluetooth security mode 1 and Level 4(also known as secure connection only mode), ensuring that Logitech Logi Bolt wireless products can only communicate with Logitech Logi Bolt receivers, greatly reducing the security concerns of enterprise IT in peripheral configuration. Meanwhile, Logitech's Logi Bolt wireless product is securely paired with its USB receiver at the factory. Out of the box, users simply plug their USB receiver into the port and turn on the Logitech Logi Bolt wireless mouse or keyboard to get to work.
Robust connection
The increasingly crowded wireless environment challenges the stability of device connection. When the peripheral mouse and keyboard and other equipment delay, signal loss and disconnected problems, most employees will seek assistance from the IT department, which also increases the workload for IT staff. To solve this problem, the Logitech Logi Bolt broadcasts powerful, loud signals that cut through ambient noise quickly and powerfully with a high RF link budget (the signal power broadcast by a USB receiver). In addition to its powerful transmission capabilities, Logitech Logi Bolt has cleverly developed new hardware (Logi Bolt wireless receiver) and unique algorithms to make frequency hopping efficient. Go off the road when necessary and adjust to the idle band, maintaining strong links while still maintaining a high level of security.
Compatible with multiple operating systems
Devices equipped with Logitech Logi Bolt have great compatibility. When connected with the Logitech Logi Bolt USB receiver, it is compatible with most operating systems (OS), including Windows®, macOS®, Chrome OS™ and Linux®. In addition, these products also support direct connectivity to the host via Bluetooth, further extending operating system compatibility, including iPadOS®, iOS® and Android™.
This is especially important in the era of mobile work. Powered by the cloud and the home-working trend, an average worker now uses multiple computing devices throughout the day, from a desktop at the office to a laptop at home or in a coffee shop to a tablet or smartphone that can be used almost anywhere else. Logitech Logi Bolt's cross-platform compatibility saves IT the hassle of having to learn that different employees need different peripherals and consoles.
"For decades, consumers have relied on Logitech's products to help them create, communicate, work and learn in their lives. Now, we want to extend this advanced technology to the enterprise, helping enterprises improve efficiency while ensuring information security to meet the growing needs of diverse application scenarios." Joseph Mingori, Logitech's B2B General Manager of Creativity and Productivity, further stated, "With the launch of the next generation Logi Bolt technology, we have also launched a series of keyboard and mouse products designed specifically for enterprise users in China, powered by Logi Bolt technology helps enterprise users create a productive, collaborative and secure office environment."
