"The scale of the competition remains the same as that of previous competitions," he said. "There are a total of 60 finalists, 30 each in cycling and electric cycling groups. The tournament is scheduled to run from September to the end of November 2020." The contestants will be ranked based on their results in the theoretical examination and the practical operation examination of disassembled and assembled products. The best candidates will take 30 places each to enter the final of the bicycle and electric bicycle group. The competition evaluation rules are based on the GB3566 bicycle assembly requirements and the relevant standards of Japan and the European Union. The bicycles of the cycling group will use the variable speed bicycles that meet the requirements of GB3565-2005 "Bicycle Safety Requirements", and the electric bicycles will use the products that meet the requirements of GB17761-2018 "Electric Bicycles Safety Technical Specifications".
