Beijing Daxing District No. 1 Middle School is a leading school in Daxing District with a history of more than 60 years. As early as October 2016, Daxing No. 1 Middle School has already realized the infrastructure construction of "cloud office for teachers and cloud classroom for students". In June 2017, the journal Network Security and Informatization published the article "Realizing Cloud Office", which elaborated the whole process of school equipment selection, network planning and practical deployment. Now, it has been a thousand days and nights, in the full cooperation between Ruijie people and the information department of Daxing No. 1 Middle School, cloud desktop has already entered the daily office of teachers and students' classes imsubtly, landed roots, blossomed. Cloud desktop is no longer a simple service product. Now, it plays an important role in supporting school information business, and will lead the development of education information in our school.

The Ministry of Education pointed out in the Action Plan of Education Informationization 2.0 that the revolutionary influence of information technology on education has been initially shown, but there is still a big gap with the requirements of the new era. The problem that the construction and application level of information learning environment is not high is put forward clearly.

The Information center of Daxing No. 1 Middle School has 9 teachers with an average age of 44. In addition to completing the usual information technology teaching work, but also to deal with the information work of the whole school, serving 350 teachers and staff, tedious tasks, overwhelmed. Before the cloud desktop, many faculty members carried laptops to work because of overcrowding and a limited number of desktop computers. Once the teacher's computer fails, it often takes a long time to reinstall the system and install all kinds of drivers and software. Both the users and the operation and maintenance personnel are miserable.

With the use of cloud office, this situation is greatly improved, and system crashes can be recovered in a few minutes, and operation and maintenance personnel no longer need to run out of legs. At the same time, the pre-installation software is easy and fast, at the beginning of the semester for the teachers to install a new version of the software and commonly used tools, save the trouble of frequent updates. In May 2017, the global outbreak of ransomware virus infection, the need to urgently patch all teachers' computers, to fix the "Eternal Blue" system vulnerability. This would have been a daunting task in the past, but with cloud desktop it is much easier because administrators only need to update a template and push it to teachers. Likewise, the daily management of the student computer room has also improved the efficiency. The hardware connection is simplified and the software customization is easy. Even in 10 minutes between classes, the new software can be installed for all the students.

In addition, the student computer room meets the practical needs of multi-scenario application: the IT teacher switches to the course template in class; School-based teachers switch special software templates in class; English listening practice switch to iFlytek training template; Even the school to do the questionnaire can also realize the optimization of the browser to make a special template; It embodies innovation and humanization from various details, and also takes the first step of serving education informatization.

As a key school, Daxing No. 1 Middle School is never short of excellent teachers. Every year, fresh blood will be added. And the cloud desktop, is exactly that magic seed, is undergoing wonderful changes.

Unconsciously, teachers and students have formed many small habits. The class computers will be equipped with cloud desktop clients, so teachers can open the slides they just edited in the office directly on the class computers without carrying USB drives, and no longer have to worry about formulas not showing or slides without sound. It is also very easy for new teachers to change positions when they enter the school and in the new semester. They no longer need to carry the computer upstairs and downstairs. They only need to remember the user name and password and can leave laughing and talking. In information technology classes, students log into their accounts with their real names and get excited about virtual gold coins awarded by the teacher each time they complete their homework. This is due to the information technology teachers import student accounts in the background of the class at the beginning of the semester and build the homework platform.

In July 2018, the three-year Action Plan of Education Informatization in Beijing was released, which pointed out that it should adhere to deep integration, promote environment creation through application, support core business, and strengthen the service and support of education informatization for education and teaching reform. And proposed to build a new "Internet + education" management platform with basic requirements such as comprehensive coordination of work and full-time operation of business cloud. Cloud desktop is the cornerstone to support the new management platform, but also for the subsequent system reconstruction, mechanism innovation, concept update started a good start.

Now in Daxing No. 1 middle School, cloud desktop is cloud desktop class use, everyone use, often used state. System administrators are also developing innovative ways to map administrative back-end addresses to external domain names so that teachers' computers can be fixed on weekends or at night. During the winter vacation of this year to fight against the epidemic, a teacher needed to work on the cloud desktop, but could not return to the field. The system administrator deployed the third-party remote tool anydesk to achieve remote work.

In many cases, teachers come up with innovative applications on their own. For example, in the experimental class, the teacher first connected the laboratory computer to the electronic experimental equipment to show the experimental results, and then connected the cloud desktop with the client. Compared with the previous experimental results, one computer was used as two computers. At the same time, school users are working closely with developers to look to the future. For example, connect cloud desktop accounts with other service system accounts to implement single sign-on (SSO). The resource platform is diverted into teachers' personal desktops to expand storage capacity and build exclusive space. Bind the page-turning pen to the cloud desktop to realize encryption and lightweight portability...... We will adhere to the basic principle of application driven and mechanism innovation, and promote the improvement of teaching, management and performance. This is exactly the vision of the Education Informationization 2.0 Action Plan. Cloud desktop is leading the solid pace of education information development.
