Since the launch of "Discover Future Design China Tour", the discussion on future design has been carried out in Beijing, Nanjing and Jinan and swept the design circles all over the country. Through the exchange and interaction of top design ideas, the collision of new ideas on future design has opened a more cutting-edge and changeable vision for China's new designers. Funded by Huanai Home Furnishing and jointly established by China Building Decoration Association, Hebei Tongxin Public Welfare Foundation and Residential Decoration and some Industries Branch of China Building Decoration Association, Huanai Design Fund aims to seek for cutting-edge design forces, build a quality communication platform, study the development trend of design, help the growth of designers, and make efforts to promote a better living life.
The Chengdu Station of "Discover Future Design" of Huanai Design Foundation started on November 19, 2019 to witness the growth and transformation of local cutting-edge designers. This activity has the honor to interview Chen Jun, a well-known local designer in Chengdu, and ask him to share his design experience and experience.

Vanai Design Fund: What made you want to be a designer? What is the significance of this career to you?
Chen Jun: It is an inevitable process for me to become a designer after 16 years of practice. Since graduation from university, I have been deeply thinking about the meaning of this profession for me. The word architectural design originates from Japan, and in ancient China, it also has the connotation of "creation". In the early stage of the design, the need to sincerely convey the design concept to customers, and analysis and speculation, and effective communication with customers, design is a continuous learning process.
Wanai Design Fund: Using your own experience as an example, talk about your opinion on the current growth environment for Chinese home designers.
Chen Jun: At present, China's overall economic development is good, the national economy has been improving the market state, it is good for interior designers. It is the most difficult time for designers in the early stage of development. In the case of inexperienced designers, the owners are skeptical about your ability. However, this is the period that every designer must go through, and the current Chinese market has the demand to give young designers opportunities. But obviously, this is only a temporary state, the future Chinese market will be subdivided, the ability of designers themselves is the foundation of business.
Wanai Design Fund: Designers are considered to represent the group of fashion trends, so what direction do you think the trend of home design will take in the future?
Chen Jun: Philosophy guides life, and life is culture, whether it is literature, philosophy, aesthetics, design... These can become the inspiration and creative nutrients of modern Chinese design, which entrusts designers with quality aesthetic value and life wisdom. Moreover, architecture and interior design will gradually move towards integration, and there will be a closer combination with fashion trends, such as the popular Hermes red in recent years, as well as the hot TV series of Morandi color system, fashion is a cycle, more and more designers like to use some elements to follow the trend, to pay tribute to this era, and for innovation!
Huanai Design Fund: The original intention of the Huanai Design Fund is to help more young designers grow up. As a designer, what are your expectations and expectations for this fund?
Chen Jun: First of all, I really appreciate that Huannai has the initial intention to help young designers. In the designer industry, age is a prominent label, and young designers need to be tolerant and understood. It is very important for Huannai Design Fund to help young designers grow up.
Huannai Design Foundation hopes to promote the development of Chinese design, and create a "future design blueprint" from the cross-boundary perspective, so as to give designers a higher level of foresight and ability, so that design will become a more powerful force and a stronger cultural support in China and even in the future development.
