Since the launch of "Discover Future Design China Tour", the discussion on future design has been carried out in Beijing, Nanjing and Jinan and swept the design circles all over the country. Through the exchange and interaction of top design ideas, the collision of new ideas on future design has opened a more cutting-edge and changeable vision for China's new designers. Funded by Huanai Home Furnishing and jointly established by China Building Decoration Association, Hebei Tongxin Public Welfare Foundation and Residential Decoration and some Industries Branch of China Building Decoration Association, Huanai Design Fund aims to seek for cutting-edge design forces, build a quality communication platform, study the development trend of design, help the growth of design talents, and make efforts to promote a better living life.
The Chengdu Station of "Discover Future Design" of Huanai Design Foundation started on November 19, 2019 to witness the growth and transformation of local cutting-edge designers. This activity has the honor to interview Hu Jie, a well-known local designer in Chengdu, and ask him to share his design experience and experience.

Vanai Design Fund: What made you want to be a designer? What is the significance of this career to you?
Hu Jie: Because I majored in fine arts since childhood, I planned to enter an art university when I was in high school. After graduation, I directly engaged in this industry, and I love this industry. A lot of changes have taken place in this profession since 2004. From the beginning, when people just came into contact with the wave of decoration, they may be more enthusiastic at the beginning, but later, after the gradual improvement of people's aesthetic appreciation, they may have higher and higher requirements for this industry. In the later stage, as designers, we need to continue to learn and progress, so that we can have access to better resources.
Wanai Design Fund: Using your own experience as an example, talk about your opinion on the current growth environment for Chinese home designers.
Hu Jie: The current environment is definitely much better than before, from the past, there are not so many brands and choices, building materials is relatively simple, now no matter from the ceramic tile, wood flooring and other products from the choice will be more and more rich, so the choice for designers will be more and more, can create better works according to the plan.
Wanai Design Fund: Designers are considered to represent the group of fashion trends, so what direction do you think the trend of home design will take in the future?
Hu Jie: The future direction should be more intelligent and scientific and technological, the first design is more inclined to luxury, a lot of piled up some things, because before this Chinese design in the beginning of the period, people's yearning for a rich life is very strong, now the society is getting better and better, people's knowledge is more and more broad, may have higher requirements for comfort, sense of science and technology, So I think artificial intelligence, intelligent system will be the future development direction.
Huanai Design Fund: The original intention of the Huanai Design Fund is to help more young designers grow up. As a designer, what are your expectations and expectations for this fund?
Hu Jie: I hope that Huanai Design Foundation will get better and better, and I also hope that Huanai can provide more high-quality materials for designers to choose from. Meanwhile, I would like to thank Huanai for giving us designers more opportunities to contribute to Chinese design together.
