On November 23, the 2nd China Industrial Design Exhibition opened in Wuhan International Expo Center. The exhibition, with the theme of "Design promotes high-quality development", comprehensively exhibited the development achievements of China's industrial design in recent years and the latest achievements of outstanding domestic design enterprises. Chenguang Stationery, as a state-level industrial design center and China pen manufacturing industrial base, is taking part in this exhibition with its outstanding works.

The theme of this exhibition is "Design Temperature, Better Life". There are about 30 excellent industrial design products on display in different categories, such as neutral pens, watercolor pens, books, coloring sets, calculators and folders. Focusing on the warm product concept of "carrying forward the quintessence of Chinese culture, advocating environmental awareness, caring for autistic children, improving students' writing experience, and reducing students' eye fatigue", it covers different use scenarios such as children's art, office and study.

Among these excellent industrial design works, M&G has three key exhibits, which are "Children of the Stars" postcard and painting art set, "Shengshi Xinyan" Shengdan clean ugly and top set gift box, and M&G Youhold series + Soft Light Eye protection Book.
"Children of the Stars" postcard and painting art set
Through the special activity of "Hand in Hand Art Rainbow for Future Earth", M&G Rainbow collected more than 400 works of autistic teenagers. These creative paintings from "Children of stars" were developed, designed and produced by M&G and turned into cultural and creative products for public benefit. These colorful works show the fiery inner emotions of children, and Chenguang hopes to convey this warmth to more people through his works.

"Sheng Shi Xin Yan" Sheng Dan clean ugly and top set gift box
Extract the four major professions of "living, denier, clean and ugly" from the quintessence of Chinese Opera, select the most representative characters as the core elements of visual creativity, and draw the unique character silhouette. It is the first of its kind in the world to put the stage of traditional Peking Opera on the gift box. AR real light field technology enables you to experience the classic segments of the Empty City staged by the famous Peking Opera painter Wang Peiyu. Chenguang hopes that through this cultural and creative product with both appearance level and practicality, young people in the new era will re-understand and fall in love with traditional culture.

Chenguang Youhold Series + Soft light eye protection volume
In December 2015, Chenguang and Tongji University developed a series of excellent grip sheath. In the follow-up research on children aged 3-14 years old, we also launched a series of fingerprint grip to effectively improve children's grip. In June 2017, Chenguang Stationery joined hands with Tongji University again to continue the development of Youshou series.
The "Soft Light Eye Care" book, displayed with the Youhold collection, uses paper that is closer to the natural light visible to the naked eye, which can effectively reduce eye strain. Chenguang designers visited paper mills for many times, and conducted a lot of research on students' writing experience, flash fusion frequency test, and finally successfully developed this product, and won the 2018 China International Stationery and Office Supplies Expo Seth Award.

In addition, the exhibition also held a number of activities, such as summit forum, exhibition awards, designer exchange activities, designer night and so on. On the morning of 23rd, Xu Gong Wei, design director of Chenguang Stationery, was invited to participate in the designer exchange activity of "Small design enables big Industry". Focusing on adapting to the general trend of industrial technological change and the importance of industrial design to industrial innovation and development, he had in-depth communication and thought collision with frontline designers in different industries.
