On October 31, 2018, the world's leading digital transformation expert announced that it officially joined the OpenMessaging open source standard community under the Linux Foundation. Together with members of Alibaba, Yahoo, Didi, WeBank and other community members, it will continue to promote the establishment of open standard standards in the top messaging industry. Jointly build OpenMessaging into a one-stop solution standard for global, cloud and big data, and multi-industry, helping enterprises easily embrace open source technology and achieve digital transformation.

OpenMessaging is the first international standard in distributed computing launched globally in China, aiming to establish a vendor-independent and platform-independent application development standard for distributed messaging and flow processing. In addition to being able to link cross-platform, cross-language, cross-product and cross-cloud standards, OpenMessaging will also provide Cloud Native capabilities for cloud computing and hybrid cloud architecture to achieve seamless migration of multi-cloud platforms. OpenMessaging is currently in the Linux Foundation and is supported by a number of top projects such as RocketMQ, NATS, RabbitMQ, etc.

As the first company in the industry with both operator and industry digital transformation service experience and Alibaba Cloud infrastructure, Whale Technology has built distributed messaging service (ZMQ) based on RocketMQ open source technology, which is widely used in digital products and solutions for global customers. In the process of exploration and innovation, House Whales Technology found that building a general, cloud-based distributed messaging standard will effectively solve the high complexity and incompatibility of various message middleware, and provide technical support for the development of emerging businesses such as big data, stream computing and the Internet of Things.

This addition to OpenMessaging is another contribution to the open source community, following the addition of ONAP last year. Huang Xianglong, Vice President and CTO of Hulwhale Technology, said, "In the future, Hulwhale Technology will form a joint force with OpenMessaging to continuously enrich and improve digital transformation technology and business, and flexibly meet the needs of operators and government and enterprise customers. At the same time, we will also contribute our experience in intelligent application of data in vertical industries, join hands with partners in multiple fields to promote the development of open source ecology, and create a borderless innovation experience."
