Recently, Omron (Guangzhou) Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. and Jinko Power Co., Ltd. have completed the construction and put into use of 733.2KW distributed photovoltaic power generation project, with an annual power output of 635,300 kWh. It is expected to save about 254 tons of standard coal emissions, 655 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and 176 tons of carbon dust in the future. At the same time, it can reduce the temperature of the plant by about 4.5 degrees, reducing the load of the factory air conditioning. With a design life of more than 20 years, the photovoltaic power station and system can provide long-term sustainable clean energy for Omron (Guangzhou) daily production and operation.
Omron (Guangzhou) Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. belongs to the Automotive Electronics Division of Omron Group. Relying on the core technology of Omron sensing and control, we design, manufacture and sell electric power steering system (EPS), on-board switch, engine start system, intelligent key, idle stop ECUs, new energy DC-DC converter and other products. In order to realize safe, comfortable, convenient, environmental protection and energy saving travel, we provide high-quality and highly reliable on-board electronic products.
As many as 2360 solar photovoltaic panels were laid on the roof and parking lot of the phase I plant, making full use of the roof area of the plant. This is the first solar photovoltaic introduction case of Omron and a third party, as well as the first ESCO solution introduction case.
Omron (Guangzhou) Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. has been adhering to the concept of green and sustainable development in business operation. Through strategic cooperation with Jinkosolar, a photovoltaic new energy power assets development company, we can obtain high-quality energy that is beneficial to the environment and greatly reduces carbon emissions under excellent conditions of low risk. The successful introduction of the photovoltaic power generation project will also provide Omron with a model for promoting the use of clean energy in other production sites in China.
This project to expand the use of clean energy through the introduction of photovoltaic power generation is a solid step towards Omron's goal of achieving Zero Carbon 2050. Adhering to the sustainable development concept of green management and contribution to "industry, society and life", Omron will actively respond to the national strategic action to optimize the energy structure, continue to actively use clean energy, create green manufacturing, and contribute to creating a better Chinese society.
