At the two sessions in 2017, the Premier proposed in the Government Work Report to speed up the solution to coal pollution. We will implement a comprehensive treatment of loose coal, promote clean heating in winter in northern China, replace coal with electricity and gas in more than 3 million households, and eliminate all small coal-fired boilers in built-up areas of cities at or above the prefecture level.
In fact, in recent years, all parts of the country, especially the northern regions, have joined the army of coal to electricity. Among them, a number of companies have emerged relying on large thermal storage type coal to electricity conversion equipment to solve the central heating problems of government organs, schools and other enterprises and public institutions, and they have become a new force in the "coal to electricity" industry.
Yankai Energy is such a new enterprise
Beijing Yankai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is the first high-tech enterprise registered in Beijing's high-end manufacturing base Zhongguancun Development Group. Specializing in renewable energy, electric energy storage technology, energy storage media development, utilization and promotion, at the same time to provide customers with energy projects (such as: coal-fired boiler replacement transformation, electric energy storage boiler heating, energy storage power station) preparation, planning, investment, construction and operation of the whole industry chain services.
Yankai's general manager, Liu Guobin, used to be a department manager at one of China's largest state-owned enterprises. In 2016, he took the plunge and quit to start his own business. The new energy company, located in the West Fifth Ring Road of Beijing, is focused on the application of power replacement technology, especially the comprehensive utilization of off-peak power, and the use of electricity storage for heating.
Thermal storage boiler, simply put, is to use the power of midnight trough period to heat the heat storage body (divided into water heat storage and solid heat storage) to a certain temperature (solid material is less than 800℃), but also to meet the heating load of the building in the trough period, in the normal period and peak period by heating the residual temperature of the heat storage body.
In Liu Guobin's view, because most of the low electricity can not be stored, do not waste. The integration and utilization of off-peak power resources is the urgent demand of the power industry, and the greatest energy saving and emission reduction can be achieved by using the generated electricity out. Coal to electricity, for energy use, clean environment, is a good thing for the country and the people.
Based on the present, long-term development
In 2016, Yankai Energy signed the "Heating Engineering Investment, construction and Operation Cooperation Agreement" with Beijing Fangshan District Education Commission, Zhoukou Town government and other 7 units respectively. The project involved a total of 70 kindergartens, schools, adult schools, three government office buildings, five police stations and one fire squadron station, and the transformation and replacement of coal-fired boilers were 102 tons of steam. The heating area is more than 400,000 square meters. The project completed construction and renovation before the heating season in 2016 and was officially put into use. After the actual operation of a heating season, the heating effect has been unanimously recognized by users.
Liu Guobin introduced that among all our projects, the largest project is in Louzishui, namely Fangshan No.5 Middle School, a renovation project with a construction area of about 40,000 square meters, which is the largest single unit in our project. Fangshan No.5 Middle School is located in Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, with more than 1300 students. Before the switch from coal to electricity, the school used coal-fired boilers for heating, which required 1,500 tons of coal each year during the heating season. Instead of a boiler, there are two large containers in the boiler room, one of which weighs 95 tons and holds more than 7,000 accumulators. This is the "New Boiler" now, and it's finally clean and tidy.
Based on a hundred years, forge ahead
From the historical data of energy development in every country in the world, the utilization of off-peak electricity is constantly studied and solved. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the power industry developed rapidly, and all kinds of power generation methods achieved rapid growth except nuclear power was affected by the Fukushima nuclear power accident in Japan. However, on the heels of serious overcapacity, there is a serious mismatch between supply and demand. By 2015, the installed thermal power capacity was 990 million kw, and the hours of equipment utilization decreased from 5,294 hours in 2011 to 4,329 hours in 2015. Calculated from 5,500 hours in the feasibility study of thermal power projects, the installed thermal power capacity of the country exceeded 200 million kW.
The contradiction between wind, light, water and nuclear abandonment is even more prominent. In 2015, 33.9 billion KWH was abandoned for wind power, more than 40 billion KWH for hydropower, 4.65 billion KWH for photovoltaic power, and 10 billion KWH for nuclear power in 2015, when equipment utilization decreased by 437 hours compared with the same period last year. The total amount of power discarded was more than 88.7 billion KWH. The annual power consumption of the Philippines, with a population of 100 million, was only 82.6 billion KWH. Large amounts of clean energy without greenhouse gas emissions are being abandoned, causing great loss to the country and its people. But in 2016, the problem has not been alleviated, and is getting worse. The power of water, wind, light, and nuclear can be doubled.
In 2016, the average utilization hours of coal-fired power plants are less than 3,800 hours, and the annual wind curbed power of wind power generation is equivalent to the power generation capacity of several Three Gorges project. There is a huge prospect of energy utilization. In the field of electricity utilization of deep ploughed valley and power replacement, there is no problem for enterprises to develop for hundreds of years in the future.
