Qingdao, Shandong, Jan. 12 -- The seminar on "Building New Engineering and New Integration of Schools and Enterprises", co-sponsored by China Data Capital and the College Working Committee of Qingdao West Coast New Area Working Committee, opened today. More than 100 leaders of Qingdao West Coast New Area, university leaders and enterprise representatives attended the seminar, jointly exploring a new mode of talent training and realizing the new integration of schools and enterprises.

Positioned as a future urban pilot zone + big data technology industrial new town, China Datu covers an area of 2,400 mu, with a planned construction area of 2.2 million square meters and a planned total investment of more than 22 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it will attract thousands of companies, create 100,000 jobs, and become a big data industry gathering center, leading the industrial upgrading of Shandong Province, realizing the true integration of science and technology, industry, city, culture and nature, and helping Qingdao become a world-class coastal smart city. Among them, software big data training is one of the pillar industries of China's data capital, and it will also become the source of a large number of scientific and technological talents needed for future city operation.
China Sudu Talent Training Center has reached strategic cooperation with 70 universities at home and abroad. It is taught by master-level experts from domestic and foreign top technology research and development institutions. It is the first enterprise-level project-driven training mode in the industry. Through the input of teachers, curriculum system, teaching equipment and other ways, IT trains nearly 10,000 IT software talents every year. The Training Center has also set up an expert committee of the Education Group to provide intellectual support for talent training, interdisciplinary scientific research and the implementation of industry-university-research projects. In 2017, the training center was the first to offer artificial intelligence training in Shandong province, and will launch an integrated education cloud platform based on big data and artificial intelligence this year. So far, the training Center has achieved talent cooperation and project incubation with more than one thousand IT enterprises, truly forming an international high-end science and technology human resources center.
In 2018, focusing on the direction of deepening the reform of national engineering education, China Sudatu actively responded to the call of the Ministry of Education for new engineering construction, and promoted the organic connection of education, talents, industry and innovation. It held the seminar with the theme of "Building New Engineering Together, New integration of universities and enterprises" to deeply discuss how universities, bases and enterprises can integrate resources and complement each other's advantages. Leaders of Shandong University, Ocean University of China, China University of Petroleum, Qingdao University, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qufu Normal University and other universities attended the seminar.

It will become the talent reserve center with the largest number of students; It will become a talent highland connecting science and technology, industry and education. To build high-quality "application-oriented new engineering talents" facing interdisciplinary, cross-professional and cross-integration, and realize the "digital-capital education model" organically combining production, university, research and application.
