On December 21, 2017, supported by Guangdong Intellectual Property Office, sponsored by Guangdong Intellectual Property Research Association, jointly undertaken by Guangzhou Science and Technology Service Association and Guangzhou Bioengineering Center, "Guangdong Province in the field of new product development and enterprise patent layout" special training meeting was held in Guangdong Yuehua Building. Wu Peicheng, associate professor of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Yan Dehao, partner of Guangzhou Bangzhuan Intellectual Property Service Co., LTD., Wei Dajiao, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Finance Department of Guangzhou Productivity Promotion Center, were invited as keynote speakers. Huang Yuxia, executive deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Intellectual Property Research Institute, presided over the meeting. More than 120 people from enterprises, institutions, universities, research institutes and intellectual property service institutions in the field of biological health in Guangzhou participated in this training session.
At the meeting, Associate Professor Wu Peicheng delivered a report titled "New Product development and Patent Application Case Sharing". Through the explanation of innovative research and development methods, combined with the analysis of practical cases, he imparts his valuable experience in developing new products in the field of cosmetics. Manager Yan Dehao made a report with the theme of "Patent big data analysis and enterprise patent layout in the field of biological health". Through a large number of data and case analysis, he explained in a simple way how to develop enterprise patent work under the new situation and how to form patent layout around core products. Vice Minister Wei Dajiao made a report with the theme of "Overview of Government funding policies and enterprise application strategies", explaining in detail the government's science and technology funding policies and enterprise science and technology project application strategies and management methods.
Through this training, participants have a deeper understanding of enterprises in improving independent innovation ability, avoiding intellectual property risks, strengthening enterprise patent protection, improving the quality of enterprise science and technology project declaration and other aspects, which provides new ideas for enterprises to improve research and development efficiency and realize innovative development.
