The 2017 Wuhan Houguanhu Half Marathon, exclusively named by Tianxia Holding Group, is back in 2017 on the basis of the good reputation established in the previous two consecutive sessions. Registration will be opened at 9:00 am on September 9, and the race will start at 8:30 am on November 19 in Bailianhu Square, Caidian District. The competition is divided into three categories: men's and women's half marathon, men's and women's 10km, and men's and women's 5km health run. The total number of participants will reach 8,000.
Sponsored by the Chinese Athletics Association, the Athletics Management Center of Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau, Wuhan Municipal Sports Bureau, the People's Government of Caidian District of Wuhan, and the Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City Management Committee, this event has won great support from all walks of life. The number of participants will hit a record high, and the event will be upgraded from a bronze medal event to a silver medal event co-organized by the Chinese Athletics Association.
