On October 31, 2016, under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Electronics and Information Industry Association and China Software Industry Association held the first "Release and Summit Forum of China's Top 100 Enterprises with Comprehensive Competitiveness in Software and Information Technology Services" in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Tongfang Co., Ltd. stands out among many enterprises by maintaining leading economies of scale, effective R&D and innovation results, and excellent social responsibility, ranking 11th in the list.
According to Zhou Zixue, vice president and secretary general of the China Electronic Information Industry Association, 11 companies with software business revenue of more than 10 billion yuan and 22 companies with revenue of more than 5 billion yuan were selected. In addition to the scale and efficiency of the enterprises, the enterprises' R&D and innovation results, emerging business forms, social responsibility and other indicators are also selected. After expert review, the list of the top 100 enterprises is finally determined.
Backed by Tsinghua University, Tongfang has long been a leading application software and solution provider in China. As Xie Shaofeng, director general of the Department of Information Technology and Software Service of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out in his report, to realize manufacturing power, we should focus on the essential path of deep integration of information technology and industrialization, and attach importance to the core role of software in supporting the construction of manufacturing power. On the one hand, software enterprises should actively adapt to the new situation, actively seek breakthrough and innovation in technology, management and business model, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and enhance enterprise vitality. On the other hand, they should also attach great importance to the combination of information technology and traditional industry and service industry, adapt to the development trend of "intelligent manufacturing" and "Internet Plus", and explore new opportunities.
