The Japanese national Exhibition team will debut the 11th China Licensing Exhibition

On January 10, during the Hong Kong International Licensing Exhibition, the Japan Brand Licensing Association (CBLA) held a Japan reception reception in Hong Kong. Brands from Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan had in-depth exchanges at the reception.

Andy Y. Toyama, executive director of the Japan Brand Licensing Association, announced at the reception that CBLA plans to organize the Japanese national exhibition group to participate in the 11th CLE China Licensing Expo held in Shanghai this October, which will be Japan in the form of a national exhibition group in the mainland licensing exhibition.

The 11th China Licensing Exhibition, organized by the China Toys and Baby Products Association, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from October 18-20 this year. After ten years of development, CLE China Licensing Exhibition has developed into an Asian scale licensing exhibition, and the China Licensing Exhibition in October every year has become a major event attracting the attention of the global licensing industry.

In October 2016, during the 10th China Licensing Exhibition, CBLA led a Japanese delegation composed of more than ten enterprises to visit the licensing industry exhibition in mainland China.

In 2015, China ranked fifth globally and second in Asia with a licensing market size of $7.61 billion, up 24 percent year on year, according to LIMA's report released at the 6th China Licensing Summit Forum hosted by the China Toy and Baby Products Association. In the same period last year, the global licensing market grew just 4.2% to $251.7 billion. China has become one of the fastest growing licensing markets in the world.

Liang Mei, president of China Toys and Baby Products Association, said that with the rapid development and huge potential of China's licensing industry, the influence of China's licensing industry is increasing on the international stage. The association and the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and other international industry associations and institutions have cooperation.

At the Licensing Fair in Hong Kong, LIMA and the China Toys and Baby Products Association met for talks.
