The 10th China (Tianjin) International Machinery Industry Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Machinery Expo"), co-sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Branch, Tianjin Commission of Commerce and Zhenwei Exhibition Group, was held in Tianjin Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center in August 2014 and closed successfully on 24th. According to the 12th Five-Year Plan of Tianjin, by 2015, the equipment manufacturing industry will be built into the first pillar industry of Tianjin, with the total industrial output value reaching 1.5 trillion yuan, accounting for 43% of the city's industry. The rapid development of equipment manufacturing industry in Tianjin needs a powerful exchange and trading platform. Tianjin Machinery Expo, positioned as a supporting exhibition for international high-end equipment manufacturing industry, is committed to helping the rapid development of Tianjin equipment manufacturing industry and taking the lead in completing the adjustment, transformation and upgrading of industrial structure under the vision of mutual promotion and common development of industry and exhibition.
The 10th Tianjin Machinery Expo launched the Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center, with three exhibition areas for metal processing, industrial automation and industrial robots, covering an area of nearly 60,000 square meters, and 1,231 enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions around the world. The exhibition lasted for four days, receiving a total of 83,670 professional visitors. It received 230 visiting groups, and the international proportion of the exhibition reached 19%. A total of 973 cooperative orders were facilitated on site, with a turnover of 910 million yuan and an intended turnover of 7.23 billion yuan, up 141.0% year-on-year. Among them, there were 422 purchase orders from Tianjin, amounting to RMB530m.
The 10th Tianjin Machinery Expo exhibited more than 7,000 pieces of machinery and equipment, including 1,198 machines/sets. Mainly have high-end CNC machine tools, gantry machining center, horizontal machining center, full surround CNC cutting machine, YAG laser cutting machine, wire cutting equipment, visual robots, programming robots, loading and unloading robots, handling robots, underwater robots, 3D printing equipment, exhibits CNC rate reached 95%, the first exhibition exhibits 32 sets, There are 350 exhibits in the category of "smart", and the maximum price of a single exhibit is 6.05 million yuan. The quality of exhibits has significantly improved compared to last year.
Tianjin Machinery Expo is the first international professional exhibition in Tianjin to pass the certification of the International Association of Exhibition Industries (UFI) (currently only two exhibitions in Tianjin have passed the certification of UFI, the other exhibition is the China Made Expo held every March by Zhenwei Exhibition Group Tianjin Zhenwei Exhibition Co., LTD.).
