The VIP group of "Italy, Portugal and Greece of 2014 Cotong World Wine Global Purchasing Trip" will set sail on September 13th. This purchase will travel to Greece, a mythical land, to enjoy the magic of mythology and wine.

Due to its superior geographical location, ancient Greece has become the center of multi-cultural integration in human history, and is therefore regarded as the birthplace of Western civilization, wine is one of the representative products. The history of winemaking in Greece can be traced back to 700 BC and ancient Rome.
Greece grows nearly 130,000 hectares of grapes, but only half of them are used for wine. The rest are used for food and raisins. Greece produces more than 400,000 tons of wine (70% of which is white), ranking seventh among the older members of the European Union.
The trip is to Nemea, a region in the Peloponnese that accounts for about a third of the country's wine, with vineyards that are free of phylloxera, and which is the largest producer of red wines in the country, PDO(Protected of Origin), Known as the wine capital of Greece.
In ancient Greek mythology, the god HERCULES (HERCULES) bravely assassinated the lion in Nemea.
Nimia has a Mediterranean climate, with short, warm winters and very hot summers. The best vineyards are located on the higher slopes, while the northern slopes are the only places where grapes grow in a relatively cool climate. Precipitation is concentrated in spring and autumn, with little in winter and dry in summer. Even at higher elevations, the wines are supple, low in acidity but fruity.
The region is home to the 7,400 acres of Agiorgitiko, one of the most expensive and oldest of Greece's native red grapes, from which fine wines are known for their deep red color, complex aroma, lasting finish and soft taste.
The participants of this VIP group are representatives of importers, chambers of commerce/associations who are interested in purchasing Italian, Portuguese and Greek wines and have certain purchasing strength.
