On April 18, 2014, the 5th China Toys and Baby Products Creative Design Competition -- "Baijiaast Cup" Car Child Safety Seat Creative Design Competition coaching and training meeting was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, sponsored by China Toys and Baby Products Association and co-organized by Jiangsu Baijiaast Auto Products Co., LTD. The event attracted more than 120 teachers, students and designers from 30 key industrial design colleges and universities across the country. With the theme of "Safe, Comfortable and Fashionable life", the competition highly focuses on the categories of child car safety seats and collects design works from designers, colleges, institutions and enthusiasts around the world.
Ms. Liang Mei, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Toys and Baby Products Association, Mr. Cao Guangming, Vice President of China Toys and Baby Products Association and Chairman of Jiangsu Baijiaster Automobile Products Co., LTD., and leaders of Zhenjiang Municipal government attended the meeting. In addition, the organizer also invited Professor Zhang Jinqian from Tsinghua University Car Seat Collision Laboratory, Mr. Derrick John Martin Barker, president of British JMDA Design Company, and Feng Diandong, manager of Research and Development Department of Parkbest, to give keynote speeches and keynote lectures, respectively, from the current situation and development of car child seats. Contemporary European design style, the basic structure of car child safety seats, material selection and process of three aspects of the comprehensive presentation of relevant knowledge, enrich the relevant knowledge of the participants.
In the afternoon, the organizer arranged the teaching model and teaching method experience exchange and discussion of key industrial design colleges. At the end of the event, all participants took a bus to Parkcrest Simulation Crash Laboratory for on-site observation, and felt the crash test of car child safety seats and related safety test requirements.
