■ A brief review of 2014

In the 22 years of development, China International Building Decoration Exhibition has gathered many famous building materials brands at home and abroad. Together, it has created the first and most complete quality procurement chain in China's building materials industry, bringing more choices for real estate developers, hotel owners, architectural and interior designers, villa and luxury home decoration owners, importers and exporters, high-end distributors and other professional audiences.

A total of 492 companies participated in the exhibition and 3,906 overseas buyers, including 123 overseas manufacturers and brands from 25 countries and regions. The four-day exhibition attracted a total of 43,932 visitors from all over the world.

1. Chinese and Foreign Designers Summit Forum -- Beyond the distance, between the design

This forum invited Adam Khan, winner of the British Public Architecture of the Year 2012, Marco Piva, winner of the European Hotel Design Award, HASSELL Design Director Xu Minong and other international design masters to give speeches in Shanghai, to explore the meaning of distance in classic design cases at home and abroad. 2. International Forum on Green Building Practice

Jointly organized by the Institute of Building Research (BRE), the Royal Institution of Chartered Builders (CIOB), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Eco Environment Building Materials Branch of China Building Materials Association, Senior design experts from Atkins, RKTL, Genlser, NBBJ, CCDI and other overseas authorities made practical case analysis and shared their valuable experience in the field of low-carbon eco-city construction.
