This year's "Beautiful China" awards ceremony featured two special sections: honoring environmental "green" role models; Salute to the corporate of the year who actively fulfill their corporate social responsibility and promote sustainable development. The 2013 Best Person Award was awarded to 24 representatives, including Wang Xigao, chairman of Jiangling Motor, Li Jinyuan, chairman of Tiens Group, Lin Ying, director of Green Home Environmental Friendly Center, and Qiaoqiao, a young director.
The 2013 Best Green Public Welfare Project Award was awarded to 10 green public welfare projects, including "Carbon Neutral Green Plant Action" selected by iEarth-Love the Earth, "Youth Ecological Camp" Firefly Beetle Conservation project selected by Qinghuan Volunteer Service Center, and "Heyuan Project" selected by Beijing Sanhealth Environment and Development Institute.

At the end of the event, the guests jointly launched the annual environmental protection initiative - China Blue Action with Hengmei China Volunteer Alliance. "Blue Action" aims to guide the public to develop a good habit of loving and protecting green by collecting action commitments and sharing green ideas.
