On July 26, 2013, the founding conference of China Toys and Baby Products Protection and anti-counterfeiting Cooperation Network was held in Beijing. Officials from the Law Enforcement Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, officials from China Toys and Baby Products Association and representatives from member enterprises of China Toys and Baby Products Anti-Counterfeiting Cooperation Network attended the conference. At the meeting, the articles of Association of China Toys and Baby Products Anti-Counterfeiting Cooperation Network were discussed and approved, and 25 enterprises were among the first group to join the network.

Children are the future of our country. The quality and safety of toys and baby products directly affect children's physical and mental health and life safety. In recent years, through the joint efforts of the whole society, progress has been made in improving the quality of toys and baby products and cracking down on the production and sale of fake and shoddy products. However, illegal production and sale of fake and shoddy products still exist, and injuries caused by fake and shoddy children's products sometimes occur. The China Toys and Baby Products Rights Protection and Anti-Counterfeiting Cooperation Network is an effective carrier of the three-party linkage of the government, associations and enterprises and a long-term supervision mechanism. It is an important fundamental solution to crack down on fake and shoddy toys and baby products and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and manufacturers. It is a concrete embodiment of the law enforcement Department of AQSIQ innovating supervision means, earnestly practicing the mass line, fully relying on and giving play to the advantages of industry associations and enterprises, and integrating the law enforcement anti-counterfeiting work into the Party's mass line education and practice activities. In accordance with the principle of "government promotion, association organization and enterprise participation", the China Toys and Baby Products Rights Protection Anti-Counterfeiting Cooperation Network is composed of toy and Baby products manufacturers. The work is specifically organized by the China Toys and Baby Products Association and strengthened by the Law Enforcement Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Anti-Counterfeiting network actively works to protect the legitimate rights and interests of toy and baby products enterprises. The member units of the Anti-counterfeiting cooperation network provide clues through the anti-counterfeiting cooperation network platform, and form a collaborative anti-counterfeiting force between government departments, industry associations and enterprises, which will surely add new strength to the law enforcement against counterfeiting in the toy and baby products industry.
