On December 1-2, "2012 Chuangchuangbang Annual Conference and Chuangchuangbang 100 Award Ceremony" was held grandly in Millennium Hotel Beijing. Li Jing, chairwoman of Oriental Wind Media Group and founder of Lebee, was named China's Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012.
Li Jing is best known as a TV host and producer of award-winning programs. She graduated from accordion professional, accidentally when the host, from Zhangjiakou TV station all the way into the CCTV. In 1999, she resigned from CCTV and set up Oriental Wind Media Culture Co., LTD., achieving the perfect transition from host to CEO. Today, Oriental Wind Media, led by her, produces more than 500 hours of TV programs every year and distributes them to nearly 200 TV stations across the country, attracting more than 600 million viewers. "Super Access," "Quiet Distance," "I Love Every Day" and other shows have high ratings.
In 2008, Li Jing founded the e-commerce website Lebee and received investment from Sequoia Capital in the same year. Lebee is China's first B2C platform with experts and stars to provide fashion solutions for women. Through the influence of Li Jing in the entertainment and fashion circles, Lebee network has many resources such as fashion aesthetic experts, star artists, and interact with Li Jing's beauty TV programs.
At present, Lebee has owned Jplus Jingjia, Jcare Jingjia and other private brands and nearly 1000 brand beauty products. With the cooperation of powerful TV media resources, Lebee hopes to explore a different way of development, which is what Li Jing called "talent economic model".
"I may be different from many entrepreneurs. I don't know what angel investor is, nor what venture capital is. I met Shen Nanpeng by chance. Shen is always like a self-adhesive. Li Jing joked that their own business, is purely "fooled" up, before the program is particularly easy, now every day can only keep working.
"I regret it a little bit, of course, but it gives me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction far more than I realize." Li Jing said he was very grateful to Shen Nanpeng's "fudge", let her release a lot of their own energy.
Li Jing says she is suffering every day and that her biggest challenge is management. She used to manage only one show team, but now she has to manage 1,700 people in the company.
"This is an unprecedented experience for me, but I really believe I can do well, because as long as you are committed and you care, you can do it, so thank you again for giving me this encouragement."
At this year's Chuangyebang annual meeting, Xiong Xiaoge, founding partner of IDG Capital, Xu Xiaoping, Xue Manzi, CEO and founder of Hualitime Company Li Xueling and other famous investors and entrepreneurs delivered keynote speeches on current entrepreneurship, innovation and future business trends.
