The first stage of the 35th Times Chinese Advertising Awards has been completed recently, and the shortlist has been announced on the official website. The final stage of the competition will be held in the Hot Spring Club of Mingtang · Sun Moon Lake in Bazhou, Hebei Province, where the elite jury from the UK, Singapore, Japan and both sides of the Taiwan Straits will be gathered for the on-site overall selection.
The total number of entries this year was 1,219. The number of entries from the mainland region increased by 40% over last year, and it was the most noteworthy and expected potential stock among the participating regions. The number of entries from the Asia Pacific Awards was the same as last year. The biggest difference of this year's event is that the winners will be announced in advance, featured in a television programme, interviews with the winning advertising agencies and a review of the winning entries and advertising trends.
After the announcement of the winners, this year's Chinese Advertising Awards will continue to cooperate with Chunghwa Telecom to show all the winning works on the Chunghwa Telecom hiChannel website.
This year, the award ceremony will be held on December 26 at NeoStudio Exhibition Hall, Xinyi District, Taipei City. On this day, advertising creators will be honored.
