The expression of medical advertisements shall not contain the following contents:
(1) An assertion or guarantee of efficacy or safety;
(2) State the cure rate or effective rate;
(3) Comparison with the efficacy and safety of other drugs or medical devices or with other medical institutions;
(4) The use of advertising spokespersons for recommendation and certification;
(5) those involving medical technology, diagnosis and treatment methods, names of diseases or drugs;
(6) obscene, superstitious or absurd;
(7) using the name of the People's Liberation Army or the Armed Police Force;
(8) using the names or images of patients, health technicians, medical education and scientific research institutions and personnel, as well as other social societies and organizations as proof.
