Kingdom of Denmark (Danish: Kongeriget Danmark; English: The Kingdom of Denmark), short for Denmark, the capital of Copenhagen, located in northern Europe. It borders Germany in the south, the North Sea in the west and Norway and Sweden across the sea in the north.

It is a temperate Marine climate. The land is low and flat, with a total area of 43,096 square kilometers (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands), of which the coastline is 7,314 kilometers. Norway was ceded to Sweden in 1814. In 1849, a constitutional monarchy was established. Iceland became independent from Denmark in 1918. Neutrality was declared in both world wars. It was occupied by Nazi Germany from April 1940 to May 1945. He joined NATO in 1949 and the European Community in 1973. It has sovereignty over Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Denmark is a developed western industrial country with the highest per capita GDP in the world and ranked 10th in the World Economic Forum's 2019 Global Competitiveness Report. Its economy largely depends on trade with other countries. Denmark is a NATO founder and member of the European Union. In 2020, Denmark's gross domestic product was DKR 1,229 billion.
