New Zealand (English: New Zealand), located in the southwest of the Pacific Ocean, west across the Tasman Sea and Australia, the country by the South Island, North Island two large islands and Stewart Island and a number of small islands near the composition. Between the north and south Islands is Cook Strait. It is a temperate Marine climate.

The territory is mountainous and the plain is narrow. The total area is about 270,000 square kilometers, the coastline is about 15,000 kilometers, and the territorial sea is about 4,000 million square kilometers.

New Zealand has a population of 5.116 million as of March 2021, and its capital is Wellington. New Zealand was settled by the Maori people from 1350.

1642 Dutch seafarers landed in New Zealand. From 1769 to 1777, British Captain Cook went to New Zealand five times. Since then, Britain has invaded New Zealand in large numbers and declared occupation.

New Zealand became a British colony on 6 February 1840 when the British forced the Maori patriarchs to sign the Treaty of Waitangi. Independence in 1907, became a British dominion, politics, economy, diplomacy under British control.

In 1947, New Zealand became a sovereign nation but remained a member of the British Commonwealth.

New Zealand is a developed country with a GDP of S $322 billion in 2020 and a per capita GDP of about S $63,000. The economy is dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry, and the export of agricultural and animal husbandry products accounts for about 50% of the total export. Lamb and dairy exports rank first in the world, and wool exports rank third in the world.

The World Bank ranks New Zealand as one of the most business-friendly countries in the world, having successfully transformed its economy from an agrarian base to an internationally competitive industrialised market economy.

New Zealand is a member of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and other international and regional organizations.
