Toshiba TV has given the answer with a unique exhibition based on 73 years of acoustic accumulation. From August 24 to November 9, 2025, Toshiba TV and Beijing Sound Art Museum jointly created the first video sound art exhibition in China, "Visible Sound · Audiovisual Topology". Beijing Sound Art Museum has long been focusing on disciplinary curation, sound collection and visualization research, establishing a visual archive for sound, witnessing the continuous breakthrough of sound expression and technical boundaries.
Here, every visitor can embark on a wonderful journey of sound storytelling and experience firsthand the profound heritage of Toshiba's TV acoustic DNA.
The technical genes of "long-termism" make art more palatable
When 73 years of acoustic accumulation are transformed into perceptible and tactile immersive experiences, this exhibition is essentially using "visible technology history" to construct "audible feelings". Exhibition Area A is the artist's sound experience area, and four experience spaces connect multiple acoustic elements such as electronic low frequency, natural sound, human voice and spatial sound field. Exhibition Area B is the Toshiba TV technology experience area. Using the Toshiba Grand Cheese 100 Z700QF as the display medium, the TV hidden sound components are hung and displayed. In cooperation with the development of video descriptions, Toshiba's industry-first rocket launcher SOUND sound quality technology platform is revealed.
From creation to leadership, carving pure original sound with ingenuity
Back in 1952, when Toshiba TV launched Japan's first black-and-white TV, the seeds of technological innovation were planted.
