The exhibition has a large scale and covers a wide range of categories, from simple and practical affordable RVs to luxurious and spacious high-end RVs. The organizing committee revealed that during the same period of the exhibition, exciting activities including the 2025 5th China RV Annual Technical Forum, the 2024 China RV Camping Industry "Ruzi Cow Award" Annual Selection, the 19th China International (Shanghai) Pan-Outdoor Industry Summit Forum, the 13th RV Camping Talent Sharing and Exchange Conference, and the 2024 China RV Camping Industry Trend Report were released, which facilitated professional visitors to understand the first-hand dynamics of the industry and brought more valuable and meaningful references to the industry.
At the press conference, the annual data of 2024 China RV was simultaneously announced: according to the statistics of Road Group x Go Rving, the registration volume, the total number of RV registrations in China in 2024 was about 18,900 (down 4.15% year-on-year; including camp trailers, self-modified RVs/bed cars, etc.), of which 11,418 were newly registered (down 17.57%), about 1,308 were newly registered (up about 16.16%), and about 4,074 were newly registered (up about 61.16%); new car announcements
In the whole year, a total of 245 enterprises declared 895 new RV models (an increase of 5.67%), 506 RV models (a decrease of 14.81%), 58 RV models (an increase of 20%), and 331 camper cars (an increase of 61.46%).
As the market competition continues to heat up, both the RV industry and the campground industry that is closely related to RVs have undergone more obvious changes. The consumer group of the RV market is gradually shifting towards affordable and high-end polarization, and has put forward higher requirements for product innovation, quality control and after-sales system. The campground, especially the RV campground industry, has begun to migrate from the initial first- and second-tier cities to third- and fourth-tier cities with unique natural landscapes and strong policy support.
