/PRCWT/Guangzhou, March 15, 2023——The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning that covers the entirety of Essex as it is expected to see icy conditions this morning (March 15). The weather warning came into force at 12am overnight and will last until 8:30am.
According to the Met Office, almost the whole country is experiencing snow and ice with areas like Chelmsford, Colchester, central and south west Essex, all affected. It is possible there could be some disruption due to icy patches on roads and pavements.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Icy patches are possible on untreated surfaces. Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. Icy patches may form overnight, especially where surfaces remain wet after earlier showers."
