The use of traditional PC dilemma
In the past, the examination Institute often used the computer room of the school as the test place, but the computer room environment is different between schools, it takes a lot of time to arrange the test environment. As a result, the institute has chosen to build its own test rooms and plans to accept more social tests in the future. This also means that the reliability of equipment becomes more demanding, and the high frequency of testing and the wide variation in requirements between different tests further test the capability and stability of equipment.
The traditional test room uses PC equipment as the test terminal, but the PC in addition to hardware aging, slow operation and other commonplace problems, there are many problems in the test scene: part of the test software used for the old system Windows XP or Windows 7, the market mainstream of the new PC are not supported; Each test requires a dedicated system environment, and PC cannot be uniformly deployed, so it requires manual operation. A large test often takes several days or even weeks for technical personnel.

Cloud desktop technology has caught the eye of CAS technicians as they have a wider understanding of the technologies and solutions commonly used in the market. Cloud desktop technology has a variety of technical modes, among which VDI and IDV are the most widely used, which mode can solve the problems faced?
Although VDI solution can solve the problem of low efficiency of PC operation and maintenance through unified operation and maintenance terminal of cloud host and quick switching of examination system, it also brings a new pain point -- low stability. Once problems occur, the examination cannot be carried out normally.
In VDI mode, the terminal is strongly bound to the cloud host, and the system actually runs in the cloud host. Once the connection is lost, there is no local data to support the test.
