On November 20, during the China Mobile Global Partner Conference 2020, the Mobile Cloud sub-forum hosted by the government and Enterprise Division of China Mobile and hosted by the Cloud Capability Center of China Mobile was held in Guangzhou. With the theme of "5G integration into all industries, the future of Mobile Cloud", the forum invited nearly 1,000 industry customers and senior experts to attend the forum and had in-depth discussions on the new technology core and key products of mobile cloud.
China Mobile Cloud Capability Center and Huawei signed cooperation in this forum and announced to build a mobile cloud joint technology laboratory. The two sides will carry out joint technology innovation cooperation based on Kunpeng hardware and basic software in the field of mobile cloud, and build a mobile cloud ecosystem based on Kunpeng, providing a win-win innovation platform for the diversity of computing power.
As the strategic infrastructure of China Mobile, mobile cloud will accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data and edge computing, linkage with 5G network, forge ubiquitous and intelligent base platform, integrate the advantages of China Mobile ToB, ToC and ToH, create cloud solutions, and cooperate with the majority of partners, Jointly write a new chapter of 5G+ mobile cloud enabling thousands of industries. As an important strategic partner of China Mobile, Huawei has completed the adaptation based on Kun Peng in its mainstream business and realized the scale commercial use of tens of thousands of units in multiple business scenarios.
The joint construction of mobile Cloud Technology Laboratory is a further deepening of the cooperation between the two sides, giving full play to the technological advantages of China Mobile in the field of operators and the ecological advantages of the open computing industry of Kunpeng, laying a solid foundation for the diversity of 5G computing power in China, enabling industry customers, and building an advanced, open and innovative computing industry ecology.
