【 Medical and Health Technology Business Exhibition 】
This event is the second time for European Enterprises' China Gateway Project to focus on the field of medical and health technology, which has attracted the attention of domestic medical and health industry organizations and enterprises in the field of medical and health technology.
China's health care market has maintained a strong momentum of development in recent years. With the development of China's economy and the aging of the population, the domestic medical and health industry has a growing demand for innovative and advanced medical and health equipment and technology. The third health technology business mission of the European Business Gateway in China was born in response to the strong demand for innovative cooperation in the domestic health technology market. According to the Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, a total of 33,704 batches of medical devices were imported to Shanghai in 2017, with a value of more than 27 million yuan, up 18.84% and 22.43% respectively compared with the same period last year. The continuous growth of medical device import is due to the strong support of China's policy to introduce advanced technology to the domestic high-end medical device industry and improve the technical level and core competitiveness of domestic medical device production.
In this event, European Enterprises' China Gateway project once again brought various world-leading medical products, technologies and solutions to the domestic healthcare market, from custom-made dental magnifier that won the Red Dot Design Award twice, the world's first pulsed electromagnetic field therapy instrument equipped with ultra-light magnetic therapy patch, to the world's leading neurorehabilitation robot and computer-assisted therapy equipment. Most of the enterprises with these products and technologies are the world's top enterprises and enjoy high reputation in the industry.
With the strong support of Fenglin International Innovation Center (BioFM), which is the partner of this medical and health technology mission, European Enterprise China Gateway Project led European enterprise representatives to visit Shanghai Xuhui Central Hospital, a national Grade 2 public hospital. During the field visit, the representatives of European companies had a more intuitive understanding of the first-hand information of Chinese medical devices and the use of products in the market terminal.
