　Exhibition background

The proportion of steel structure residential buildings in the residential construction of our country is less than 1%, which is far lower than that of Japan, America, France, etc. Experts estimate that by 2020, the industrial scale driven by green buildings in China will exceed 1 trillion yuan, among which, steel structure buildings, as a typical example of green buildings, have a huge development space. At the beginning of this year, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development set a target of building 1 billion square meters of green buildings during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. By the end of 2015, 20 percent of new buildings in cities and towns met green building standards. Subsequently, from the central to local governments have issued implementation rules for the development of green buildings. "In developed countries and regions such as Europe, Australia and Japan, prefabricated steel structures account for more than 50 percent of the total construction, while steel structures in China account for less than 5 percent of the total construction. Compared with developed countries, the future market space is huge."

Affordable housing has become a priority for promotion

Industry insiders believe that steel structure housing is another key area of promotion is the affordable housing project. "Steel structure housing to accelerate the process of housing industrialization, improve the safety performance and quality of housing, change the way of housing production, promote green building and energy conservation and emission reduction, play a very important role. With the deepening of the construction of affordable housing, more steel structure enterprises are bound to incorporate it into their development strategy."

For this reason, the 13th China Housing Expo 2014 Beijing has a special steel structure housing industry zone jointly sponsored by the Housing Industrialization Promotion Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, China Real Estate Association, China Architecture Culture Center and Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The exhibition will focus on displaying the latest steel structure housing technology at home and abroad. At the same time through the relevant industrial chain display and a series of supporting activities, as well as steel structure housing industrialization process; Jointly promote the market application and development of China's steel structure green building, for exhibitors to contact customers, expand sales channels at home and abroad, expand market share, show brand image, to create an authoritative, professional, high-quality, docking exchange platform for China's steel structure green building industry. To comprehensively improve the performance and quality of steel structure housing, guide the concept of green building, and promote the improvement and upgrading of China's living environment.

Three, demonstration model

At the same time, the exhibition will launch "China's Home of Tomorrow 2014" theme demonstration exhibition and promotion activities. "China's Home of Tomorrow 2014" will build two sets of residential model houses, one of which is 120 square meters and takes low-carbon housing as the main line to show the integrated application of the latest technology in residential, and interpret the low-carbon commercial housing for the future. The other apartment is 70 square meters with aging housing as the main line. Through reasonable planning of housing facilities and space, the elderly can meet the special living needs of safety, convenience and comfort at home. After three years of successful construction and display, the "Home of Tomorrow" has now become a symbol and highlight of the China Housing Expo.

Four, supporting activities

During the China Housing Expo, there will be 2014 China Real Estate and housing Industry Summit Forum, housing industrialization work Forum, National Housing Industrialization Base demonstration and promotion special report, 2014 real estate Awards related activities.
